With the holiday season just around the corner, now is the time to prepare your home for the wetter months ahead. Common drivers of leaks during the rainy season can be clogged roof valleys, clogged gutters, and wind damage.

A Roofing System Under Threat: What causes roof leaks?

Leaves and debris clogs the flow of water on the roofing system causing backup, and overflow of water. Slowly it seeps under the tiles and into the roof, and may go unnoticed until there’s rain. Wind damage can also create entry spaces for the rain. Regardless of the method, once the rain gets inside it’s only a matter of time before there’s rot and the roof leaks.
